A NARRATIVE STYLE OF PHOTOGRAPHY

If you desire soft and fuzzy photographs of veils blowing in the wind and barefoot groomsmen frolicking on sunset flooded beach, Daniel is not the photographer of your choice. If you want a photojournalist, look no further.

Photojournalism, or telling stories through photography, has been Daniel's passion and profession for over twenty years. He doesn't miss a beat. Silent and unobtrusive observer of events as they unfold, Daniel frames them into images that capture the feeling, the tension, the joy, the beauty that inevitably happens when people get married and celebrate love and life.

In good storytelling, less is more. After a single wedding shoot, Daniel ends up with somewhere betwen two to three thousand images. Those get ruthlessly thinned down in the production process. On average, one out of three images survives the first edit and makes it to the DVD you will receive as a part of your package. These same pictures will also be posted as a private web gallery with a shopping cart, so your friends and distant relatives don't have to bug you about getting them some photographs.

Once the first edit is done, Daniel carefully re-examines the thousand or so images and begins piecing together the story of your wedding day. At the end is a slide show containing between 100 and 150 pictures Daniel will post on his web site. Here are a few samples.

rose and john's wedding JOHN & ROSE bonnie and michael's wedding BONNIE & MICHAEL
nora and ed's edding NORA & ED ylana and chad's wedding YLANA & CHAD
sue and pepper's wedding SUE & PEPPER sabrina and ryan's wedding SABRINA & RYAN

The editing can go even further, if you wish, to create a photo-essay wedding album. It comes in black or red leather and contains approximately seventy large custom prints your grand children will love to go through everytime they visit. Set up an appointment to see a sample of the Aspinal of London album and possibly discuss plans for your wedding day.
